|24 June 2019||OVERNIGHT STAY FOR JUST € 48 per person per night, including breakfast!|
The 18th edition of Recreatie Vakbeurs will feature a completely new floor plan. For instance, the 'Outdoor Living' segment will make its debut, 'Happy Camping' will make way for a so-called 'style studio', the knowledge theatre will move to hall 3, and the 'Food & Beverage' segment will cover an entire exhibition hall for the very first time. In addition, following the request of several industry players, the opening hours of Recreatie Vakbeurs have been changed, ensuring that the fair is open throughout the day.
Although the look and feel of the floor plan will remain the same as 2018, there will be a number of changes in terms of the exact layout. In hall 1, 'Interior & Styling' will be combined with the new 'Outdoor Living' segment. The latter will cover sauna & wellness, patio furniture, barbecues, heaters, and the like. In the same hall, 'Happy Camping' will make way for a 'style studio'. Together with four different exhibitors from the Interior & Design segment, the fair's organisers aim to provide a unique stage where visitors can find inspiration for the upcoming recreational season by means of four different interior concepts.
The 'Swimming Pools & Water' segment will remain in hall 2, and will be joined by 'Gardens & Parks' (previously in hall 7). In collaboration with experience architect Stan de Haas, we will transform the 'Swimming Pools & Water' inspiration square into a tropical paradise. Hall 3 featuring the 'Facilities' and 'Services' segments will remain unchanged, although the knowledge theatre will move from hall 1 to hall 3 (this because of the more central location). With the 'Recreation Technologies' and 'IT & Software' segments, hall 4 will remain identical to that in 2018. In hall 5, the 'Fun & Exercise' segment will be accompanied by the 'Entertainment & Games' segment. As a result, this hall will be entirely devoted to (inter)active activities.
Plans for Entertainment Experience Centre
With the ‘Accomodation’ segment, hall 6 will remain unchanged. Should hall 6 be fully booked, this segment will expand to hall 7. To create an even better experience for visitors and to give them a glimpse into the future of recreation, the organisers are currently consulting with a partner to create a so-called Entertainment Experience Centre in hall 7. This experience aspect will also be extended to the 'Food & Beverages' segment in hall 8. More specifically, this hall will feature a complete festive atmosphere. Exhibitors will be given the opportunity to book a 'lot' (3x2 m.), where they may present a variety of all-in concepts for the leisure sector. You can think of, for example, various street food concepts, although wraps, pancakes, pizza slices, or popcorn may also be part of the offerings.
Recreation Fair New Opening Hours
Various meetings, evaluations, and surveys have shown that Recreatie Vakbeurs's opening hours are a recurring point of discussion. To be brief, the exhibition times of 12 AM to 8 PM seems to no longer match the wishes and needs of our visitors. With the new opening hours of 10 AM to 6 PM, Recreatie Vakbeurs will be open throughout the day.
The 18th edition of Recreatie Vakbeurs will take place on Tuesday the 26th, Wednesday the 27th, and Thursday the 28th of November in Evenementenhal Hardenberg. For more information, please visit: www.recreatie-vakbeurs.nl.
